30 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We were married at the resort and spent a very happy 3 weeks there. The staff are amazing from the pool staff to management.

The food was great and the choice unbelievable.

I have recommended this hotel to more friends than I can remember.

The review below is absolute rubbish 2 out of 10...what a croc!

You will never get anywhere better than this. The sales tour was a pretty obvious pitch even when they booked you in. There was no hard sell and quite honestly we were hard pushed to turn them down.

We'll be going again next year we loved it that much...oh and we are also seasoned travellers.

stayed here late may 2008 for a week could not have been better not sure how there can be negative reviews there is so much to do and the fact that it is so big is only a plus for us its like its own little world 13 restaurants and as many bars pools secound to none trips included in your package { food and drink 24/7 } and lots of variety if you cant find something here you like you are just to picky and if you cant find it with 13 restaurants how do you think you will find it with 3 or 4 lol . the service was second to none always its a pleasure from the staff we have been there twice now and are already planning our return next year

45 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This review comes from a family who travels quite often. On our second day at the resort, we went on a VIP tour because Guest Services claimed we would learn more about the hotel and have information to pass on to our friends. This turned out to be a vacation club sales pitch and we felt misled as we never participate in time share sales presentations. Pool was very nice but not enough room to find a good spot. Room service did not show up on time the only day we ordered it for breakfast before an early morning tour. Guests were given a customer satisfaction survey to complete while eating breakfast. Their Public Relations desk leaves a lot to be desired. Moon Palace owns Chaza Travel as well so be alert to the prices you pay for tours. We were overcharged $50.00 for a "Swimming with the Dolphins" ticket. We bought one ticket from Chaza Travel thru the hotel for $129.00. Later on the boat, a Chaza Travel representative offered the exact same experience for $79.00. Guest Services and Public Relations at the resort did nothing to help us with this complaint over the course of three days. They would not credit us the difference as they incorrectly claimed we bought a different program with the dolphin. If you decide to go to this hotel be prepared for the many opportunities that this hotel exercises to waste your vacation time. In summary, Cancun is a beautiful vacation spot to visit but select another resort to stay at.

The pool is magnificent! The hotel has a beautiful scenery and great service! It is simply the best!

This hotel made me feel relaxed: I was inspired to explore the Mexican culture. The design and comfort level was great. The Mexican tiles, marble and service were wonderful. The large jacuzzi in the room was great! I felt inspired to go back!

I am very likely to return to the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
