43 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I have stayed in Moon Palace every year for the last 3 years and its still a very nice resort. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from and most restaurants are not difficult to make a reservation. Pina Colada drinks are the best here. My kids ordered this drink without the alcohol and they drank this like water--it was so good. We have several kids with us ages 4 to 8. A good tip-- try to go to X Pu Ha(another resort owned by Moon Palace). You can take the Moon Palace tour bus for free or rent a car (ist not too far from Moon Palace). The kid's pool there is great and that resort is not crowded at all. Ofcourse, you can eat there and use all their facilities for free also.

The night shows at Moon Palace offers a lot of entertaining varieties. I am going to cancun next week and will try something different by staying at Grand Occidental Xcaret--I kinda dread it since I have read some not so good reviews about this resort. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. I will try to write a review about this resort when I return.

54 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I loved the all inclusive feature. It was in a beautiful setting and it was clean! The staff was very polite.

This hotel made me feel important: Requests were answered very promptly. The room was special. It was like a cruise on land.

I am very likely to return to the Moon Palace Cancun.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

39 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was all inclusive and luxury like we have never experienced. The staff was incredible, they gave red carpet treatment, the food was incredible, the room was wonderful, every room had ocean view, there were hammocks on the balcony and a jacuzzi tub for two in the room facing the ocean and a complete bar in room at no additional cost. It was oceanfront, it had several amenities and there was so much to do. You could just stay in the room and it was wonderful! It was the best vacation ever! They were friendly people.

This hotel made me feel content: They catered to our every whim and the service was prompt. The customer service was exceptional. They made sure if you made a call for something, that it was taken care of. The follow up was awesome.

I am very likely to return to the Moon Palace Cancun.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

43 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We went during the 2nd week of November..The weather was just right every day, and the Hotel seems to have everything. The "Passport" tour package which is included with an all-inclusive stay of 7-days gives you tours to Mayan temples and Tulum, as well as Isla-Mahas and for small fees includes snorkling etc... near the reef. It is a very nice experience. By the pools, they make sure you have drinks any time you want and the food is very good. The moon palace offers bussing into the Cancun Hotel strip so you do not have to pay for a taxi unless you want to go other than on the bus schedule. Our families thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We paid extra and went on the Pirate diner cruise and also went on the sppedboat mangrove run which also included snorkling.

I was pampered from the moment we walked in the door very friendly people well kept hotel ok the one thing the food does not always taste like it looks, but always prepared very well and with 12 restaurants if you cant find things you like then you need to stay home and eat. will go back and the sooner the better would highly recomend this hotel.
