I stayed for one night in November, which I guess is not a very busy time. We had a corner room facing Cannery Row on the 2nd floor, but had no problems with noise. Some reviews said this hotel has no air conditioning, but I didn't have an issue since we were there in December.
The hotel staff was very helpful in recommending things to do/restaurants to try. The breakfast in the restaurant in the basement was good, lots of fresh fruit and with great views of the ocean and otters.
The room was very nice, extremely clean and the bathroom was very high-class with marble countertops. (Even the shampoo/conditioner provided was nice) I loved the big white bed and fluffy pillows. I would definitely stay here if I ever go back to Monterey.
Tip: Rent one of those two person bikes and ride up and down Cannery Row. Its very beautiful along the ocean!

We have stayed at this hotel twice when visiting Monterey. Great views, as it is right against Monterey Bay, and within easy walking distance from The Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Service is excellent, and the rooms are clean. You have to pay for overnight parking, but nevertheless the entire experience and convenience is worth it.

Let's begin with a full service spa/massage and fitness center on the top floor and then move to the room with a beautiful view; right on the beach and right at the end of Cannery Row. Its great for the whole family and the princess in you!

Okay
This place is bigger than the type of place we usually like to stay. That said, it was beautiful, great service, gorgeous rooms, great property overall. We bought a package that included breakfast at the Duck Club. Yummy - crab cakes while watching...

Upon check in, they gave us the wrong room number, so we spent 10 minuets trying to get into the Wrong Room! Finally got to the correct room, it was not an ocean view as we paid for, it faced a public deck area which allowed no privacy and was...

The hotel staff made me feel important by greeting me when I walked through the door, by being conversational with me and appearing sincerely interested in my stay, and by being prompt, courteous, and complimentary.

We stayed at this beautiful 4 star hotel for our wedding anniversary. Their ocean view rooms are really ocean view being that part of the hotel is built up on stilts over the Monterey Bay. They have a great ocean front restaurant and a fun bistro. We had the added touch of a romantically decorated room from local company Romantic Room Designs. It was a very nice anniversary. Oh, I forgot to mention the spa. It was very relaxing.
