It is a comfortable hotel to stay in.

It was a very pleasant stay. It was a very nice hotel.

My room was supposed to have a view of the ocean. We had a view of the roof of the hotel. I did not like paying three hundred dollar a night for a room that normally goes for one hundred and fifty dollar. It was located in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara. The office staff, especially bell hops and Valet Parking attendants were excellent. Also the king size bed was the best and most comfortable that I have ever slept in. It was remarkable.

This hotel made me feel respected: I thought the hotel staff did a terrific job, especially the bellhops and the parking valets.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, it is 15 minutes walking distance from Butterfly beach, at only 1/3 the cost of the Four Seasons Biltmore. The restaurants near to the Montecito are all very good and we enjoyed a great steak dinner at Lucky's and a lovely hearty American breakfast at Jeanine's Bakery.

The cost of staying in Montecito is exhorbitant and the room was the size of a postage stamp. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny. We've paid the same rate to stay at rooms twice the size in Maui.

The nice thing about the hotel is that everything is included in the room rate. They do not nickel and dime you for every little thing. Parking is free, continental breakfast is free. The tomato stuffed croissants are incredibly good--flaky and moist. Lemonade and fruit in the afternoon is available.

The hotel also has a nice touch of glamour retained from the days when Charlie Chaplin resided there.
