Good Location on the Strip. The Monte Carlo in Las Vegas is a great place to stay on business. It is clean, has a decent casino floor, with a nice poker room. It is located right in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. The only negative is the dealers can sometime be a little to cranky!!

Great Value!. My husband and I have stayed at Monte Carlo 4 times and have never been disappointed. Our last stay was this past week (8/09-8/11). We arrived at 1am, exhausted after a long drive, and John at the front desk was super nice, gave us a great room, and made us feel welcome. The rooms are clean, roomy and well equipped, and the hotel premises are spotless and very well staffed. The pool area is fun, the casino is classy, not gaudy, and whatever fragrance they pump into it smells great! The hotel's location, across from the MGM and New York New York, and a 5 minute walk from Bellagio, is superb. A simple, elegant but very affordable and just nice place to stay, we "heart" the Monte Carlo, and will surely come back soon.

Stayed at the Monte Carlo for 5 days. It was a clean hotel with no major problems. But don't forget anything in the room.
When we got back home, I called immediately to report the missing item (someone at the front desk told me that they found the item). Left a message with lost and found. After 2 days of not hearing back from the Monte Carlo, I decided to call back again to find out about the lost item. Monte Carlo's answer (after a minute of searching)--> "we don't have the item"
The customer service/lost and found/operations departments do not communicate well with each other--> "we handle so many rooms", "we can't help you" and "let me forward you back to lost and found".
Is it that hard to find out who worked that shift on that floor that day? And why tell me that you found the item and then tell me you don't have the item?
My advice: Stay somewhere else.

The lobby, hallways, and corridors of this hotel were amazing. I thought this was one of the best looking hotels on the Strip. I would recommend this hotel for other tourists.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: There was a lot of room in the hotel and the hallways were very wide. There was always something to do at all hours of the day.

Great location and very affordable. If you think a stay in Las Vegas is out of your price range, think again. The Monte Carlo has everything you want except the noise levels of other hotel/casinos. Very clean, very beautiful, extremely convenient, wonderful pool area, great pub & brewery. The staff was professional & courteous. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and will keep coming back. Reservations already made for our next trip.

I was not allowed to check in when I arrived at one pm, as my mother had booked the room for two, but did not give my name. I was told that this happened all the time. I had been up since four a.m. and drove three hundred and fifty miles. I was to pick up my mother at the airport at seven p.m.
