I was there for a convention. The hotel is very nice. No one was rude or inefficient but there was room for improvement before I would say the service and facilities are remarkable.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

The staff was very courteous and accommodating. The hotel's location was very central to sites/attractions.

It was too crowded. A room a few doors down from ours had at least 12-15 crying children left in the room day and night. The children did not speak English; they were of Asian decent. We reported the situation, but nothing was done about it. I also had my cell phone stolen by an Asian man standing next to me in the buffet line at the hotel restaurant. Again we reported the incident but the hotel staff said they could not do anything about it either. We are planning a trip in spring of '06 to Caesar's Palace in hopes of a better experience. This had been our third time to the Monte Carlo, but it was certainly our last!

I am very likely to return to the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

Overall, it was a great time. The only bad thing was the walls did not seem to be soundproof at all. People talking in the next room were audible in mine. When someone in the next room took a shower you could hear the water rushing through the pipes.

I stood in line to check in for over 15 minutes, then the line 'closed' because of an issue with a guest checking in. I had to move to a new line (that took another 15 minutes). I think the clerk should have made sure that I didn't lose my place in line - it just seemed like a big hassle. I couldn't believe that the exact same thing happened upon checkout, but that only took 20 minutes. This was my second visit to the hotel. The first time was uneventful and went well. I like the hotel as a whole. The rooms are well-appointed and clean.

Was unaware of hidden charges for certain items such as phone use. Also, a charge for hailing a taxi to the airport was placed on my charge card. The room was noisy for a semi-suite. I was disappointed with all the smoke -- particularly in the casino. I would have gambled but couldn't stand the smoke.

It was our first time in Las Vegas so we wanted a hotel that was centrally located. The hotel was very nice, comfortable and the staff was helpful. We walked up and down Las Vegas Boulevard looking at casinos, the sights and we saw a couple of shows. We found that the Monte Carlo was perfect for us because it had a restaurant, entertainment, beautiful decor, and the price was not too steep. I would stay there again and we recommended it to our friends.

I liked the fact that it was easy to check-in. I also liked the location of the elevators. The hotel has a very nice pool area but some of it was closed off. The casino was nice and friendly.

The hotel is beautiful and meets all of our needs. The casino is very manageable -- not too big or too small. The restaurants have incredible food -- and the entire staff of the hotel is friendly and eager to please. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience a classy Vegas hotel without a huge expense but with all of the amenities the huge hotels offer. I give it 5 stars!
