The hotel was very romantic and at the same time overwhelming, with its old furniture and statues. The room we stayed in (no.29) was small but comfortable and clean. The only negative of this room was that the window was overlooking the street...

I liked its historic, downtown location and its quiet, serene, elegant ambiance, especially the property's central courtyard featuring plants and blooming shrubs. It had an exquisite decor overall.
The check in procedure was prompt and friendly. Front desk services were always provided in a cordial and accommodating fashion. I felt that everyone on the staff was a dedicated professional with a deeply caring attitude.
I am very likely
to return to the Monna Lisa Hotel Florence.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We loved the Hotel Mona Lisa in Florence. It is a beautiful palazzo in a great location near the Duomo and away from the crowds. The hotel furnishings are beautiful antiques, the courtyard is beautiful and inviting, and the service and staff are first rate.
Next time, I would ask for a room not facing the front, as we had some street noise, whereas our other rooms off the street were nice and quiet. There are lots of nice sitting areas outside of rooms for reading, playing cards, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel.
2nd stay in two years, cannot say enough about how great this hotel is. Location is ideal, gardens are beautiful after a hard day of sightseeing. Breakfast was great, staff where Great! Get room number 5 if possible, second floor with large terrace...
