17 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This was my first trip to Minneapolis and I wanted to stay at a hotel that was city center and in the middle of everything. After arriving in the morning at 7:30 I was still tired and needed to get cleaned up before venturing out to the mall or other shopping. I first was mad because check in was listed at 3 and what was I going to do with all that time. I went to see if I could check in early and there was no problem with that. The staff was amazing and a great help when I needed directions. That night was very comfortable! Go to the North Shores Grill (In hotel) the supper and breakfast is amazing!!!! I will be staying here everytime I return to Minneapolis!!!
I liked the motel it was BIG compared to where I am from. I didn't like the fact that they didn't have any restaraunts or even snacks available after 10p.m. when we returned after a long day. It was in an ok location to where we were going and I...

As a Platinum Member of Marriott I have grown accustomed to being treated very well at Marriott properties. Unfortunately I found my experience at the Minneapolis City Center to be lacking. I specifically asked for an upgrade 1 week prior to checking into the hotel. Instead of an upgrade I was given a downgrade a room on a non-concierge level floor with a view of a much taller building. Upon entering my room I looked to find my complimentary bottle of water and milano cookies as all Marriott properties provide to Platinum members, but was disappointed again. I requested water to be brought up to my room, but unfortunately it never happened. Furthermore the bathroom had only 1 bath towel and when I went to take a shower found the shower curtain falling off the rails. Overall this Marriott has left a real bad taste in my mouth.

The location was terrific, with lots of things to walk to. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable.
All the contact I had with the staff from reservations, to check in to room service was friendly and polite. The staff there was a real upper in every way.
I am very likely
to return to the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a nice hotel located in downtown Minneapolis. It was connected by skywalk to other businesses. The entire hotel was non smoking and it had quiet rooms.
I knew that my room would be clean, comfortable and quiet.
I am very likely
to return to the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
