Got in on a value package, which was great! Nice hotel, good restaraunt, good location... The deal gave us a dollar toward any hotel service (food, drinks, shops, etc) for every dollar spent towards the room, plus an upgrade.

The hotel was listed as a four star. However I would have rate it a two star. I had to pay for parking in their garage. The walls were paper thin and the pool had a lot of salt in it.
I am not likely
to return to the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis.
I would not recommend it to friends.
pros: NONE!Hotel was needing a SERIOUS update. All their money was spent on the super small lobby. The rooms were terrible! they could have knocked off $100 off the rate per night and it still wouldn't have been a good deal! Bathrooms had mold...

They did not have a crib in the room and we had to ask twice to get one. I also got transferred to several different people when asking about the availability of a microwave. I did like the location of the hotel.

Our check in was less than friendly and even checking our baggage was a hassle. We ended up in a smoking room after specifically requesting a non smoking one. My roommate had a bad asthma attack and they kept promising us a new room and after almost four hours we were finally moved and offered no help with our things. The staff at the desk during check in was rude as well as the ones helping us with our room change. A message was left for the manager to contact us and he never did and we were not offered anything in exchange for our difficulties in the room or the poor service provided by the staff.
