first, it took an hour to check into our rooms. i have a family of six. we asked for two rooms next to each other. this was impossible. second. it took hours for them to deliver our bags. literally hours. maybe i didn't tip them enough on my way in for the $32/day parking. next, and my biggest complaint for such a historical hotel, the rooms were dark and appeared to have never been cleaned.
the bathroom tiles were tainted black and there were CIGARETTE BUTTS in the corner of a non-smoking room. on top of that, the road noise reached all the way up to the ninth floor and i couldn't fall a sleep because of a party being held in or around the hotel until 2am.
i would never recommend this hotel. EVER. unless yyou just want to take a picture in the beautiful lobby.
