Or In That Area Or When We Want To Go To The Bar Across The St From The Place And We Love It The Palce Is Clean And Nice And Neat There Pepole Who Work There A Nice And Freindly It Is A Truck Stop There But It Anit To Loud

Nothing For My Husband And I To Complain About There Food In There Dinner Across The Street Is Great And The Bar Up Above Is Really Fun You Got To Be 21 To Enter And On Friday And Saturday Nights There Is A 3.00 Admison Per Person And The Have 1 Of 2 Bands And There Bandan And Str8ght Arrow I Olny Saw Bandana And There Great The Paly Country Classic Rock The Good Stuff And There Have A Nice Dance Floor So If Your Looking For A Motel Stay And Great Fun I Would More Than Highly Recamend It

I've stayed in several hotels across the area and find that the Midway Budget Inn is a great place to stay. It is older than other hotels in Columbia, but it's cleaner than most other hotels. I don't care about all the fancy amenities, I care most about cleanliness and I have always found very clean rooms here. The staff is always very nice and helpful.

I find the rates to be very affordable.

I moved to the Columbia area about 5 years ago and this was the first motel we stayed in when we arrived here.

This is hardly a family hotel and there are a number of concerns with this property. It is located at a truck stop which is fine if you drive a big rig and your okay with all the traffic.

There is a diner that has pretty decent food with a very local flavor. Also there is a very loud bar above it, so don't think you’re going to eat dinner (or sleep) in peace.

The room sort of reminds me of something you might expect in a very bad "B" movie. There is nothing remarkable about this inn, and budget (as the name implies) is just what it is. The sheets and towels are a bit rugged and worn, the carpet is torn and stained, and well the whole room smelled of stale beer and cigarettes, even though it was a nonsmoking room.

I would not recommend this property. You are much better off considering something in nearby Columbia (try the Baymont) it has a fabulous breakfast buffet.
