Microtel Inn and Suites Rice Lake Hotel - Page 1

The staff is the best!! They treat you just like family!!

Stayed for four nights while attending a conference. I had a suite, which is larger (of course) than the average very small room. Even though I was alone, it was great to have a sitting room (with a pull out sofa, lamp, coffee table, table and 2 chairs), as well as the bedroom area. And the microwave, refrigerator, and prep sink were a great addition.

The room was very clean, as was the entire property. Parking was plentiful. This hotel is located nicely near a variety of stores and restaurants. The staff was great. The continental breakfast was more than just fruit and muffins - the hotel also had make-your-own waffles. I did not try one, but I watched as many people struggled with the sticking waffle maker (a new one or some non-stick spray was needed). Coffee is available 24 hours.

I would stay here again. In general I like Microtels anytime I want a clean hotel, a variety of television channels and don't have to spend an inordinate amount of time in a room!

The hotel elevator was out and the staff did not offer assistance.

The elevators were out of service when we were leaving and the staff did not offer to assist us.

This hotel was a very nice place to stay.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were very nice.
