From check in to check out the desk clerks on duty are exceptionally knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions with a smile on their faces. The quality of the continental breakfast is beginning to move in the wrong direction. Keep all thin

Excellent
I recently had the pleasure of traveling through Kentucky on my way to a confrence for the CVB. A friend of mine suggested that I stay at the Microtel in Florence, Ky because it was convenient to down town Cincinnati, and very economic.
The Microtel Inn in Florence is a nice place to stay, especially if a traveller is on a budget. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the rates for rooms are some of the lowest in the area.

We booked a double "suite", which was a single room with two full size beds (not queens as advertized) with a counter in the middle. The bathroom door lock was broken as was the refridgerator temperature adjust knob. All the local channels on the TV were barely visible due to static. The room was very clean, though. The staff was courteous, but it seemed half the personnel was just sitting around while one or two people were working.
We stayed at this hotel with several friends for a conference nearby. The family staff was great! Friendly, accommodating, and eager to please. Free Continental breakfast was really good! Included biscuits and gravy! Hotel had free 24 hr. coffee, juices, and cookies always fresh, and on hand in the lobby (and it really was 24 hrs too!) Also, the free passes (for the asking) to a nearby golf course, mini golf course and athletic center was over the top! Loved that! We had a double suite, which fit the needs of our family just fine (2 adults and 3 kids). The single, non-suite, rooms my friends stayed in were unbelievably small though. But, if you're just going to be using the room to sleep, it doesn't really matter. Every room has a window seat that could double as another bed. My 15 yr. old loved that. Overall, we loved our stay here and would do it again.
My husband,3 children and I were traveling through Florence, KY when our car broke down. The repair dealer insisted the best place to stay while our car was being fixed was the Microtel. We had never stayed with Microtel before, but decided to try ...
We just stayed at the Microtel, our first experience with this chain. We are relocating to the area and where down for a whirlwind two day interview and housing search. My husband and I traveled with our two small boys and my sister. The suite...
We needed a room for one night in Florence and I found a travel coupon on the internet to stay at this hotel for $50+taxes. The desk attendants were very helpful and thorough. We went out and came back about midnight...they gave us the key to the ...
