My children and I stayed at Microtel for a week while visiting my husband who is training at nearby FLETC. We had a room with two queen size beds, which were unbelievably comfortable. The room was a decent size for me and two small children. My son loved the window seat in our room. He would lay on it to watch TV or just look out the window at the cars going by. The bathroom was very bright! It had a tile shower that made me think I was taking a shower at home. The mini fridge and microwave in the room were put to very good use. We could've used more drawer space though. Also, there was no iron and ironing board in our room. We had to sign those out at the front desk. The staff was very accomodating. They housekeeping staff noticed we didn't leave each day until early afternoon, so our room was always clean when we returned each day. The front desk people were very nice to my family and addressed me by Mrs. We used the outdoor pool only once because there was a trail of ants circling the outside of the pool. I did notice a person taking care of that problem the next day. The location is great. Right off 95. Less than 5 minutes from shopping, food, and FLETC. Fifteen minutes from St. Simon's Island. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially FLETC families.

I stayed at this hotel in Brunswick, GA for 30 days while i was attending some training at FLETC. While checking in i noticed that the hotel was not well kept and it was very short staffed. when i first entered the room i noticed that their was no...
We were completely satisfied with our two-night stay. The hotel is far enough from both I-95 and Hwy 25 that traffic noise was not audible. Staff was helpful and pleasant, and the room was comfortable and well appointed. WiFi in the room. ...

Privacy...What is that? I mean, why bother using the "do not disturb" sign...they just come in your room anyways. It doesn't matter if you are there sleeping or not there at...
49 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
It's a good hotel overall; but I was not impressed with some of the staff members who seemed more intent on watching their TV shows or chatting on the phone than helping me check in when I arrived at 8 PM.
