I think my stay could not have been much better than it was. When I stay in Bossier City, LA, I try to get a room at the Microtel Inn. I think the room price is a good value.

They had free long distance service and that meant tons to me, because my husband was not with me. I also like the complimentary breakfast, and the anytime popcorn.

The staff is very pleasant and they served coffee and donuts in the vending area, which was a nice way to meet other guests without being forced to stay a long time.
This hotel made me feel secure: All the room doors are located inside the building so you can't access the rooms as easily as in other hotels.

Harrah's gave me a complimentary room; I am glad I did not have to pay for it. The room was disgusting; there were stains on the window seat cushion and the walls. It was dusty and pretty gross. I felt so uncomfortable that I left after 3 hours and drove back home to Texas.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The women at the front desk were all so very helpful and friendly.

The bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor, and the toilet was not properly cleaned.
