The Microtel was in an extremely quiet location but surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and gas stations. The room was quite small but there was enough closet space to stow baggage out of the way. I spent a total of 6 nights here, in 3-night groups over a couple of weeks. Parking was ample. My biggest complaint would be that the key cards were unreliable on exterior doors, but never failed on the room door. I never brought this to their attention, though, because eventually the key would work on the exterior doors -- just had to remain persistent about it. There was no pool but I'm not into staying places because of pools so that was okay. The Weather Channel did not come in well on their cable but they had wireless internet (better on the East side of the building than the West) so I was able to check the weather online. The staff was friendly and housekeeping called to see if I needed anything the morning I was running very late. They seemed concerned about my well-being and the interior corridors made me feel quite safe. The window seat was relaxing and made the room not feel quite so small. I would stay here again despite the little glitches, because I am under the belief that no place can be truly perfect, and this was a clean and comfortable location for me.

It's a really great hotel. They gave us so much privacy. Everything we needed was on hand in the room, and ordering movies for the kids was easy as well.
