I have travel across the country and have never stayed in a "hotel" such as this. I asked for non smoking and there was the smell of smoke all throughout the room. Our clothes were thrown into the hamper by the cleaning staff while we were getting breakfast. Our things were tossed across the room while we were still checked in. All of this without so much as an apology. The Manager SANDRA! is horrible and a poor excuse for a general manager of a hotel. It took her a week to call me and when she did all she had to say was were sorry you didn't enjoy your experience (I had to have the Microtel corp customer service call her just to get that).
In short, save your money and skip the headache, NEVER STAY HERE!

Microtel is a quality, no-frills, place to stay. We have always found this chain to be reasonably priced and provides just the services that we require. It’s a good place to spend the night when our trip takes more than one day's drive. We like not having to pay for services we don't need, such as a pool, gym, restaurant or bar.
No matter what time we arrive, our reservations are correct and ready for us to check in.

I stayed in the same motel approximately five years ago. Since then it looks like there has not been any money spent on upkeep. The overall look is worn. The toilet ran constantly and it took too long to get fixed properly. There was a problem between the rate on the reservation and the rate I was charged. I will probably not stay there again.

We found out why they call it Micro hotel. The rooms were rather small and compact, but suitable as we did not stay in it for very long. I probably would not stay again with my children as they are grown and take up much space! With small children it would be great.
