Microtel Inn Greensboro Hotel

I have travel across the country and have never stayed in a "hotel" such as this. I asked for non smoking and there was the smell of smoke all throughout the room. Our clothes were thrown into the hamper by the cleaning staff while we were getting breakfast. Our things were tossed across the room while we were still checked in. All of this without so much as an apology. The Manager SANDRA! is horrible and a poor excuse for a general manager of a hotel. It took her a week to call me and when she did all she had to say was were sorry you didn't enjoy your experience (I had to have the Microtel corp customer service call her just to get that).

In short, save your money and skip the headache, NEVER STAY HERE!

Microtel is a quality, no-frills, place to stay. We have always found this chain to be reasonably priced and provides just the services that we require. It's a good place to spend the night when our trip takes more than one day's drive. We like not having to pay for services we don't need, such as a pool, gym, restaurant or bar.

This hotel made me feel welcome: No matter what time we arrive, our reservations are correct and ready for us to check in.
