The Miami River Inn, located in Miami, Fla., features charming turn of the century cottages located in Little Havana, just across the river from downtown Miami. The restored cottages were built between 1904 and 1916 in the Miami Vernacular style. The Miami Art Museum is within walking distance of the hotel, and the Historical Museum of South Florida is just four blocks away. BEWARE!!!!! NICE WEB SITE - NOT AS NICE IN PERSON. LOCATION - NOT GOOD! BREAKFAST - NOT YOUR TYPICAL FOR A B & B. ROOM WAS NOT MADE! IT WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING BUT THAT IS THE ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY.

The manager,Jane caporelli was a relaxing, perfectly welcoming, accommodating and helpful person, throughout my stay. It made a difference, in this refreshingly peaceful ,but almost too dark reception. The rooms are in authentic period style, tidy...
