This is the epitomy of the word “dump.” We stuck it out for two days because you could walk to the beach, but the conditions became more and more evident with each hour. We were willing to live with no maintenace (cabinet knobs...

The Metrolpolitan Hotel HHI is by far the most disgusting hotel on Hilton Head.
Not only does it stink when you first walk in but the grounds look like a trash truck just dropped his load. I was appauled by the lack of concern by the staff. My good advise would be to stay anywhere other than the Metropolitan "Trash dump" hotel if you want to enjoy your stay on HHI.

This place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed in over thirty hotels in my lifetime and none of them were this bad. The staff is not helpful at all they could care less about the rooms falling apart which they were the wall in our bathroom fell in the balcony had cracks all in it and the top of it was hanging down and the hallways smelled like urine and our refrigerator barely worked the stove did not work at all and there were no pots and pans the whole stay was horrible and if you are smart you will read all the reviews and stay as far away from this place as you can, because it is worthless and it will ruin you vacation!!!!!
