54 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Hotel Menage (formerly a Holiday Inn) has been extensively remodelled and all of it is well worth a look! The staff are all very well trained and professional, from the Valet to Housekeeping. It's right next to the freeway so access to other destinations is very easy - if a bit noisy at times. It's a block from Disney and you can purchase both shuttle and Disney tickets from the Concierge. The most attractive feature for us is the fresh and trendy decor in all the lobby/restaurant areas. It feels like a very "fashionable" hotel in the boutique style but with affordable rates. The other pleasant surprise is the quality of the food served in the K'ya (pronounced kaya) restaurant. Even if you don't stay here you at least need to try out the food - it's truly fantastic! I will definitely be back again.
The only downside is that the rooms still feel a little like the signature Holiday Inn rooms.
