Memphis Marriott Downtown Hotel - Page 1

stayed at this hotel June 14-18 and was disappointed. I arrived at 2 p.m. on Saturday and my room wasn't ready, although some of my party did get a room. Everyday I was in the room I had to call downstairs for towels - somedays I didn't get bathcloths, other days I didn't get a tub mat, some days I didn't have a bath towel. The water in the shower was always lukewarm, never hot. I'd leave the room between 7:30 and 8 a.m. and if I returned before 4 p.m., the room was never cleaned. Their were a couple of younger staff members at the front desk that were helpful, the rest of the staff seems to have no idea about the city at all. No concierge was never on duty during my stay. I was there for a conference and will stay again if part of the conference. If for personal travel, I'll chose another location and I'm a Marriott Rewards member.

Wonderful downtown Marriott hotel with nice decor and friendly staff!

It was a very nice hotel and the trolley worked out great.

The hotel is a nice place to stay. Reasonably good location.

The Swimming pool was very cold,likely due to being inside and not getting heat from sun.

Had some laundry done and extremely outragously expensive. Try to prevent this service.

The hotel has a good downtown location. Everything was ok.
