The Melville Long Island Marriott is centrally located on Long Island off exit 49 of the Long Island Expressway and is the largest full-service hotel in Suffolk County. The Marriott features a five thousand square foot atrium lobby, business center, deluxe guest rooms and suites, exercise room, indoor swimming pool and seventeen thousand square feet of meeting and banquet space. New York City is thirty-five miles east with the Huntington/Melville corporate parks three miles from the hotel. All guest rooms have high speed Internet access with wireless service available in meeting space and public areas of the hotel.

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and we think this is one of the best. We say that whenever we come to New York to a convention is Freeport, we will stay here. It's clean as well as beautiful.

The hotel had a very attractive appearance and the check-in staff was friendly and efficient. But we had trouble getting good room service, a lamp did not work, the sheets were old and ripped in places, and the dresser drawers were dirty. Overall, the place looked good but the staff needs to pay better attention to the room details. We expected better from Marriott.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Melville Marriott Long Island.
I would not recommend it to friends.
