This hotel is in an excellent location. It is close to Adams Morgan, Foggy Bottom, Dupont Circle, and so on. It’s in a great place to be as a tourist.
However, the service was dreadful. I had a 1/2 hour wait for my car to be returned by the rude valet service, there was no air conditioning in the room at the end of April (the whole hotel is either set to heat or cool, according to the front desk), light bulbs in the room were blown out in the bathroom, non-existent in the "office" area, and the carpet was dingy. (This is rated as a 4-star hotel, go figure).
So it's a toss-up for me, and barely scrapes into a 5-rating.
