Historic Edgefield is one of the truly remarkable destination resorts of the Pacific Northwest. It is a world of relaxation that seamlessly blends Oregon's natural beauty with McMenamins' signature whimsy: historic buildings of all sizes artfully restored and rich with cozy interiors, tranquil ponds and dazzling gardens, great food and drink, plentiful entertainment and surprising recreations. Encompassing a lush 74-acre parcel of farmland at the mouth of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, Edgefield is a 15-minute car ride to or from the center of downtown Portland.

33 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This is an adult Disneyland! A huge estate with history and incredible art, a golf course, brewery, winery, and three restaurants all in one place! A bed and breakfast-style hotel with unique rooms that overlook beautiful gardens and landscaping. Several options available, with shared baths to private suites. Excellent restaurants, from pub-fare to elegant entrees in the Black Rabbit restaurant! They make their own beer and wine, which can be sampled for free. Offers live music several nights a week. We've been going there for years, and we love it! Best beer we've ever had, as well as the fries!
I am very likely
to return to the McMenamins Edgefield.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
My favorite place to get away!!!
