McClellan Inn Motel - Page 1

I booked this hotel through trails.com for a Friday and Saturday night. On Thursday, we found out we would have to return home Saturday night because of a family matter. I went online to change the reservation but it would only let you cancel. So I did and rebooked for Friday night only. There was a two days cancellation penalty, but since I rebooked for Friday night, I assumed it would be waived. WRONG!!! The manager did not care that I had rebooked and charged me the penalty anyway. And since I was the only guest at this place, I assume he doesn't need to be making enemies of his guests. Not to mention, the room was sweltering and the air conditioner took hours to cool down the room. The room was relatively clean, but very dated. The wireless internet connection was configured wrong and I had to tolerate an error message popping up every three seconds because there was a conflict with the IP address, meaning they had multiple computers trying to use the same connection. I won't be staying here again and I definitely won't be recommending to friends/family.

When I called for reservations, and asked for the price, the manager was rude, very rude. He did not want to give out any information. He was very disrespectful and did not answer all of my questions.
