The ‘vacancy’ locks did seem like a security problem because it automatically tells people when you’re not there; live band next door on weekend may bother early-to-bedders but just added some fun for us; though my reservation page clearly listed a n/s room as a special request we were put into a smoking one but it was changed with little attitude so we’ll be forgiving

Great hotel...we loved it...
Only one suggestion if you plan on staying at the Maverick Motel...bring your own pillows...they give you pillows, but they are rather flat from our experience.
Also, the internet is wireless and not everyone ...

If you are looking for a place to sleep and extras are not that important, then this is the place for you. We have stayed here twice this wunter and were very happy. we needed a place to sheep while traveling and you place meet every epectation..

When making the arrangements for our excersion to Crater Lake, we were not able to find a place close to Crater Lake due to an annual horse event in the area. After checking around, we found Maverick Motel. We stayed 2 nights and it was a pleasant...

The outside of the motel doesn't look like much, so we were delighted to find the rooms to be clean and very well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but not uncomfortably so. The staff were helpful. It exceeded our expectations ...

Maverick Motel advertises that pets are welcome but think again before bringing your dog. There is no place to walk the pet to relieve themselves. The brochure in the room shows a pool with a sticker over it "Sorry, No Pool". Where was the picture...
