The ambiance was very comfortable and enjoying. The room's amenities were very convenient as well.Front desk made it very clear that it was "more like a time share" than a full service hotel. This meant no help with baggage and other services.“Our...

Marriott always offers superior destinations and accommodations. Our family has been Marriott timeshare owners for over ten years and we've never been disappointed by any of their facilities. If you want to go to top destinations, and enjoy excellent service, Marriott is the way to go.
The furnishings were particularly nice, better than we have at home!
I am very likely
to return to the Marriott's Shadow Ridge I-The Villages.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a large, spacious suite on a golf course. It was near the pool. It was in average condition, there was no room or towel service. The electronic lock malfunctioned on arrival until repaired. They bug you to take in their sales pitch for more points.

to return to the Marriott's Shadow Ridge I-The Villages.
I might recommend it to friends.

The Shadow Ridge is a lovely location and the room was large and comfortable. We were unable to enter our room with three different sets of electronic card keys given to us. It seems that no maintenance is performed on anything until it no longer works. The handyman had to come down to our room and fiddle with the lock until he got us in. Then, we were unable to leave and return until they finally, reluctantly, changed not our key again but the whole locking mechanism. We were also disappointed with the room and the towel servicing. One would think that for the price one pays to stay at this place, that one would get at least the minimal service. We were pressured to attend a pitch to sell us time share. Given this experience we would not recommend the Marriott Vacation Club hotel to anyone at any price. You can stay at a decent motel and have better service and amenities for a lot less money.
I am not likely
to return to the Marriott's Shadow Ridge I-The Villages.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We love this resort. It is clean and roomy. They have upgraded the pools and they are continually growing this resort. However, this last trip was upsetting as they did not provide the expected service as stated for the vacation ownership tour and gift as stated that we would receive.
