This is a fabulous facility! The location, the view, everything about it is just fabulous. The accomodations are great, the staff is excellent and you are close to everything in the OC. Highly recommended.

Okay

We recently stayed at this property-the best thing about it is its location. We found it to be extremely loud and crowded though, with very limited restaurant choices on property.

Horrible

We stayed at Marriot's Newport Coast Villas recently and were very underwhelmed. First of all, as Gold Rewards members we were contacted and invited to stay for 3 nights with a mandatory Vacation Club presentation. Now, we all know what we're...

Looking forward to 2009 – Posted Dec 28, 2007

Currently undergoing renovations (no noise, just rebuilding unit 3700), when completed in 2009 should be considered a 5 star resort at that time. 20 minutes from Disney, 90 minutes from Universal (due to LA traffic otherwise would be only 60). 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport (great benefit over LAX). 80 Minutes from San Diego Sea World.

The location, the comfort and the service were all excellent. I would advise other tourists to use this facility, as it is excellent and located within easy travel time to other activities.

A great place to stay – Posted Jun 24, 2007

Excellent
34 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed here for a week via a timeshare trade. What a great place. The villa was immaculate. We had a two bedroom which had a bathroom in each room, a double sink and double shower in the master, a decent sized living room, a full kitchen with full sized appliances, a dining room with a good sized table, and a washer and dryer. Both bedrooms and the living room have a TV. The living room TV has a DVD player and there is a DVD rental place on site.

We stocked our fridge up on day one at Albertson's (about a 5-10 minute drive) and ate breakfast and dinner at home each day. The kitchen had everything we need so we weren't missing anything.

The three pools (and hot tubs) were open until 11pm each night. It wasn't difficult for us to find an empty one each day (perhaps because we were there in May).

Although we didn't take advantage of the Bar-B-Qs throughout the place, it is something we would have done had we known they were there prior to doing our week's grocery shopping.

While the commute to the various theme parks was a little longer compared to what it would have been if were staying in L.A., the drive was worth it when we returned home each evening. Driving in the carpool lane helped us avoid the majority of the traffic.

I would recommend this place to couples and families. I would definitely stay here again.

I love the setting, the weather, and the proximity to home without having to fly. Newport Beach has incredible restaurants and entertainment at all price ranges and types. It has great shopping possibilities.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott's Newport Coast Villas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
