There was no bar, it was under construction during my stay. The food from room service was excellent, but I was disappointed by the food at the hotel restaurant. There could have been more television channels.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Marriott Winston Salem.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire hotel in general smelt good.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The welcoming staff and the comfortable room made me feel relaxed.

We had reserved five rooms for our group and when we went to check in at six o'clock in the evening three of our rooms were not ready for us. We had requested rooms with two double beds and we were given one room with a king bed. For about an hour we had one room with a king bed for six people. The hotel could not find our reservations for the remaining two rooms and their records showed that they were booked up and the people at the desk said that they could not sell us any rooms until the main office released the rooms that had not been claimed. It was frustrating because there appeared to be no one at the hotel who had the authority to help us. The situation was eventually solved but it took about two hours from the time we started trying to check in to finally get everyone in their rooms.

I am not likely to return to the Marriott Winston Salem.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The main restaurant was closed and there was not much else available except breakfast on a mezzanine.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I enjoyed the extra pillows and comforter on bed.

The location was great in downtown. The breakfast at the restaurant was the low point of the stay. The staff just seemed unorganized, unlike everywhere else in the hotel.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Winston Salem.

The hotel was beautiful after the renovations. The rooms were just great, much nicer than expected. The staff was very helpful and offered good information about places to visit while in town.

This hotel made me feel content: The room was very comfortable and the housekeeping was great. The room was ready at promised time.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Winston Salem.

The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The hotel offers good security. My son left his glasses at the hotel and the staff found them and mailed them to us quickly which was greatly appreciated. This was an extra service that I did not expect.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff greeted us as we entered. The lobby had fresh coffee and tea. It was if they were expecting us to arrive at just that time. They had luggage carts available to easily take our stuff to our room.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Winston Salem.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The Adam's Mark Winston Plaza hotel was under renovations and was frankly a mess. The check in took one hour and 3 minutes.
