Marriott Southern Hills Hotel - Page 1

Check-in was a hassle so we were happily moved up to the concierge level. We felt like royalty until the elevator opened to the nauseating smell of mold; there was little reprieve from the pungent odor in our room. In the morning, we found a strip of mold on our wall two feet wide and eight feet long. I was sick for three days and cancelled our return reservations.

The hotel is outdated compared to other Marriott hotels of the same age. It needs to be completely remodeled.

The hotel was fine and there were no surprises. The pool was not very inviting, it had low ceilings and the area smelt of pool chemicals. The airport shuttle pick up took one hour and it should have taken fifteen minutes.

It was the site of a science fiction convention and it seemed to work well.

It was very easy to find. The people working there were great, they were friendly and they were offering extra advice on best routes through Tulsa. The facilities were excellent with lots of room and space .
