The location was great. The room size was larger than I expected. The bed was comfortable. The rooms had no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee pot. There was a Starbucks in the lobby but that is rather expensive to use daily. The room rates were high. The hotel was really in a great building but I think there were better values in the same general vicinity.
This hotel made me feel important: The concierge service was exceptional.

This is a nice, full service hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco. It is also convenient to the convention center.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The new mattresses were luxurious and very comfortable. The concierge was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. When I arrived, there was one hair in the bathroom, but the room was cleaned well going forward. The desk was in front of the window, which made it awkward to close the curtains, and the furniture seemed a bit crowded. Room service arrived late, the food wasn't hot, and they forgot the straw I had requested for my iced tea. I used the laundry service and was happy with it. The shipping service below the lobby was extremely helpful in sending a box for me in a rush, and waived the fee for me. I used the hot tub and it was large and the right temperature. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are attending an event at the Moscone Center, it seems to cater to business travelers.

The room was not adequately equipped -- I had to request a coffee maker, and the toilet ran constantly. The hotel was in a good location, but it was quite pricey.
