37 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. I stayed here with a buddy of mine but I had some work i needed to complete over the weekend and I called before I left to make sure that I would have internet access in my room. But the internet connection kept getting disconnected. I tried calling the front desk to ask for some help but they made it sound like there was a problem with my laptop and it didn't have anything to do with their connection. This frustrated me because I've stayed at 2 other hotels before and I've never had this problem. In the end, I couldn't deal with it and I had to give up and leave a few hours earlier than expected so I could go home and get the work done. Not very friendly service.

What can I say other then my stay at the Marriott went PERFECT! I was sent on a weekend conference being held at the Marriott which in turn resulted in us all getting a room there.

The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure just to look around... the art and furniture have amazing detail and I truely felt like I was staying in a Castle! The rooms were stunning including everything a hotel normally would but had that extra touch! The washrooms were also amazing and didn't lack any detail! The beds were also comfortable and not stiff like you'd expect from most hotel's beds.

Room service was also amazing and were nothing like most, take out food style hotel menus, although the prices for most meals were really up there... Other than that though, my trip stay that was truely an experience and staff were there to answer and attend to all your needs!

I would definately recommend stayin here if you have that extra money you want to dish out on a room!

Came here to enjoy the Winterlude festivities last winter and we ended up enjoying our stay just as much as the festival. Although it was a few days the accomodations were excellent.

We enjoyed the pool and the views were spectacular of the Ottawa River and the Parliament Buildings.

We were disappointed when we had to leave, but we know if we ever come back this will be our first choice.

We stayed at this hotel during 06 civic weekend and overall Marriott Ottawa stands offers a lot for it's price range. We received a decent deal for the weekend that included dinner voucher for hotel's restaurant.

There is a fee to park inside hotel's underground parking lot. It's around $17 depending on weekend or weekday. The best part about staying at Kent St. is that you're in Ottawa's downtown main core. Literally you can walk to the Parliament, Rideau Canal (world's longest skating rink), Bank St., Wellington st and near the world's famous Byard Market.

Hotel's staff were also very courteous and very polite both when checking in and out.
