30 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This was my first stay & the hotel bragged to be a "resort". That it was. At the pool bar, a 10oz margarita in a plastic cup was $9.95 plus the automatic 20% gratuity that is always added to your bill. Parking was a nightmare. If you wanted to self- park, it was $13 a day & you had to wait for a shuttle when it came around. You couldn't walk to your car- it was a mile away! Then, if you had your car valeted, it was $18 a day & we usually waited about 30 minutes or more for our car to be brought to us. The Steakhouse in the hotel had steak dinners for $44. All of the restaurants were priced that way with the exception of Champs, which was the sports bar. So, it was better to eat off- property. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby- just a Starbucks that of course, you had to pay for. Internet access- $15.00/ day. Elevators were slow. The pool was great, the beds really comfortable. But, after a 5-day stay, including the price of our rental car, we could have stayed at an all- inclusive for the same amount of $ that we spent.
