It's in a great location, right on the trolley line. The accommodations were great!

This hotel made me feel respected: I am always well treated at the Marriot.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was convenient to where I was going and it was quiet for a peaceful trip. It had great breakfast choices.

This hotel made me feel content: I felt as though I was an important customer of the hotel. They always treat me with a great deal of respect and kindness.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

My stay was great, everything I expected. The comfort was awesome and the service was good. My advice would be to stay longer than a day.

This hotel made me feel hip: I went with my friends and it was our first time at the Marriott together without our parents. We felt grown up.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

As hotels go, especially a supposedly swanky hotel in San Diego, this particular Marriott lacked everything short of special. 45 minutes for room service to not deliver silverware, a nominal task, is ridiculous. The gym is poor, there is an aroma of fresh sewage lingering in the air around the less-than-lush surroundings, and the food, good grief the food! Paying 15.00 for a breakfast that lacked the quality of IHOP, located just down the street, is absurd. Lower the food prices and the empty bar would definitely entertain more volume. Finally, the parking flat out sucks! At a jacked up rate of $310.00 per night, stay here if you want, or pay the same amount and stay somewhere on the beach in La Jolla. The beds sleep well, though.

I am not likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I like this hotel, it was very clean, and the food was good. The rooms were clean and roomy. My only complaint was that you had to use the room key too much to get around, in some respects you could feel safe, but it became annoying occasionally. It's not really needed in the interior pool and dinning area.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Everything was just fine. The only comment I can offer is that most, if not all things in the San Diego area are overpriced!

I am disabled and the staff went out of its way to be accommodating and helpful. Our room service breakfasts were delicious and high quality. The room was very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the parking lot was not very efficient for handicap parking.

This hotel made me feel respected: I am a wheelchair user and the staff went out of its way to be sure my stay was comfortable but tried not to make me feel any different from their other guests.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I attended a conference at this hotel and found the conference facilities and the accommodations to be pleasant. Obviously the hotel is not in the center of the tourism industry in San Diego, but it is within walking distance of public transportation, which makes it more than acceptable.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.

The front desk was very helpful in giving locations to various locations. The rooms were serviced very well and our needs were taken care of immediately. Our request for a taxi was met with kindness and speed.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk staff was very friendly. A newspaper was at our door every morning.

It's in a good location with lots of restaurants near by. I was tired of going to full service hotels and still having to pay for internet access when ones like Courtyard and Residence Inn both offer it for free including wireless in the lobby. The others say it's because that's the way guests want it, and I say that's just an excuse to get even more out of an overpriced room!

I am somewhat likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I might recommend it to friends.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Poway, CA - Posted Apr 25, 06
32 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Even though we had some odd requests, the hotel staff went above and beyond for our large group. The bartender provided especially excellent service. The only thing that could have been better is less of a tropical scent in the lobby, even though the scent diffuser had been turned off over a week before our group arrived, the scent was permeated in the walls and furniture.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The wait staff made sure that we had everything we needed, and made sure to keep our drinks refilled as needed.

I am very likely to return to the Marriott Mission Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel restaurant and the additional services, like the wireless internet connection, were very expensive. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I was pleased with the quality of the room, especially the comfort of the bed and the balcony.
