Marriott Mission Valley Hotel

What I loved about this hotel:

- Nice pool area with outdoor hammocks and funky cabana seating

- Lots of power outlets in the room

- Great bed - firm and a variety of pillows

- Easy parking

- All-inclusive Internet/phone plan for $9.95/day

- Prompt housekeeping service

- Airport check-in computer at front desk

What could have been better:

- Room service closes at 12am, so no late night snacks

- Concierge level lounge is closed all weekend

- Only one sink in the room and very little counter space for toiletries

This hotel is located in Mission Valley - not close to the touristy San Diego attractions. It is surrounded by businesses though, so it would be a great option for business travelers in the area. Also, there are tons of chain restaurants and big-box stores nearby (Target, Ross, Sears, etc.).

I didn't use this service, but I did notice that the hotel was offering a shuttle to the Chargers game on Sunday...

Apparently, they get a lot of guests in for football games...

We had an awesome time! The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the food (room service as well as the lobby restaurant) was good. The view from our rooms was not that great but it was not bad either. The hotel was approx. a $20.00 taxi ride to most tourist attractions. All and all I definitely recommend this hotel!!

I like this hotel very much. It is centrally located. It has a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

It offers a central location, excellent service, and cleanliness as usual. They offer a first class concierge, lounge, and service.

The location was central. It was close to the highway and therefore convenient to get to downtown San Diego. The front desk service was good and the employees were helpful and kind.
