I love the hotel, it has a great location in Times Square and close to all the best Broadway shows and excellent restaurants. The hotel restaurant and lounges were all excellent and worth a visit. The rooms were beautiful and competitively priced for the area. You could stay farther away from the theater district for cheaper, but by the time you add in cab fare back and forth you may as well stay at the Marriott! I highly recommend this hotel and will be visiting again soon.

This hotel made me feel entertained: The Marquis theater is part of the actual hotel. The sushi restaurant in the lobby lets you watch all the action, as do the lounges on the main level overlooking Times Square. The rooftop rotating lounge had its fabulous buffet, great service and drinks.

I liked the hotel's location, rooms and view.

The location was excellent, service was adequate, and advice from the concierge was fine.

My rooms weren't clean when I arrived. The rooms I reserved weren't the rooms I received. The elevators were not working properly so it took a very long time to get where you were going.

I love the hotel, but I wish it was not so expensive. It's in a great location at Times Square. There's a waiting line for a cab, like all of New York City.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: It is a beautiful facility in a great location with great rooms. After a hard day of doing business it is great to come home to.

The service and elevator system in this hotel needs improvement. Long waits. This hotel is in an excellent location for anyone visiting NYC for the first time.

The new elevator system was designed to fix the problems - instead they have made the situation worse. Moving from the lobby to the room is almost impossible - a 15 minute wait on a good day.

To add insult to injury, the bar area is almost always dirty - empty glasses, uncleaned tables. Forget the lobby bathrooms - a disaster. And the staff are almost non-existent.

Overall, for the money, this was one of the least impressive Marriott's I have ever seen.

It was very enjoyable at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel.

I love the Marriot Marquis and I took my mother there. We had a great time. The rooms are large and comfortable and you cannot get a better location (right in Times Square). But, for my money, there are less expensive hotels in the same area with comparable or better rooms. It really depends on what you are looking for. But if you're looking for a fun, lively, comfortable experience and one of NYC's largest guest rooms and you have the money to spend, stay at the Marriott.

This hotel made me feel excited: It's a very lively place. There is always something going on and the location right in Times Square energizes you. They have a great dining area overlooking Times Square and that is probably my favorite feature of the whole hotel.

I enjoyed the beautiful view of Times Square and the very comfortable beds.

They have excellent service and excellent food.

The elevators are bad enough to discourage a return visit

The hotel was too big. It took too long to get an elevator. But the hotel is in a good location.

For the most part it was fine. It was just very busy. The hotel is large and elevators were very slow as some were out. Also, we asked for (and were granted) a late check out but housekeeping came to our room prior to us leaving and knocking even when we had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door. That was very unacceptable.
