Nice location, great service!

The bad:

Expensive hotel for sub-standard accomodations.

Dirty hallways, hair in sink and tub, large stain on the sofa.

Walls thin - we could hear the people in the next room talking and coughing.

Paid $265/night for Deluxe room with Balcony and Bay view. Requested a high floor, did not get one. Ended up on the 3rd floor. It was very noisy due to band playing and train/tram whistles. There is not a Bay View from the 3rd floor. Balcony was small with 2 plastic chairs.

Breakfast at LC's restaurant was expensive - $60 for 2 people. It would have been okay if the food was great, however, the food was just so-so.

The good:

Hotel staff was nice and courteous.

Molly's restaurant was excellent fine dining. Well worth the money!!

The hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to Seaport Village.

Overall, we would not stay here again. We will try the newly renovated Hyatt in the same area next time.

It was a good location for the convention center and near the Gaslamp District for dining options along the bay which was nice but a little expensive for what you got.

I love the Marriott hotels. I am a rewards member and I stay at a Marriott hotel whenever possible. They offer consistent comfort, excellent service and usually great locations. This hotel was in walking distance of everything great San Diego had to offer. Plus, the staff was wonderful!

This hotel made me feel content: Whatever I needed, the staff found it for me.

At check-in we were lucky enough to be upgraded in room to a room on the 22nd floor with the most fabulous view of the bay. The bed was really comfortable. The room was spacious and all amenities provided. The staff was very professional and the environment gracious.

They have phenomenally comfortable beds, great bathrooms, wonderful pillows, fantastic room service, efficient check in and check out. I like the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also have a great rewards program. The hotel has a great location with a fantastic pool and lots of nice areas within walking distance.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: The elegant rooms with excellent beds and contemporary decor, the internet service in the room and the upgraded in room amenities made me feel sophisticated.

It is a nice place, expensive, but San Diego is expensive. It is close to the harbor.

Everything was great.

The best part of the hotel was its convenient location to the convention center. However, I was highly surprised that for the expense of the hotel, there was no breakfast included in that fee.
