Marriott Hotel Downtown Kansas City

The hotel is in the heart of downtown Kansas City which is good if you are doing things at the convention center, but bad for anything else as most activities occur outside the downtown area. But the hotel is well kept up, clean and modern.

Check in was done quickly, even with a large group of people arriving in a short time. The beds and the bedding were excellent. I was disappointed that only one of two restaurants was open with a large conference centered there. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I was checked in quickly. When I asked for information, it was given quickly and correctly. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff.

The room and the beds were very small for the price that was paid.

The location was ok. The service was above average. I would stay there again. It was very good value, it had excellent room service that was always on time. The concierge helped me with a reservation at the upscale restaurant in downtown. I expected good service at the Marriott hotel and I got better.

This hotel made me feel secure: The hotel security was good and I got good advice from the concierge.

The staff and the room were wonderful. On reservation I requested a room near the elevator for health reasons. The room was as far as possible from the elevator and the staff was uncooperative about changing. My stay was not as enjoyable as it could have been, as I stayed in my room unless needed for meetings.
