Marriott Hotel Albany

It was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was fine except the distance between the elevator and the meeting rooms.

It was a regular check in. My daughter was sick and the front desk staff was great in the middle of the night. They allowed us to stay pass the check out time since we were in an emergency room over night.

The location was perfect as I was attending an event at the university in Albany and the hotel was located near the campus. The comfort was fine. The front desk was very helpful because at one point a family member was having a problem with his car and the front desk told him exactly where to go and what shop to use to get the car taken care of quickly and easily. The front desk staff was a big help. I would say to anyone else who is going to Albany for something at the State University of New York, Albany, such as a graduation, to absolutely stay at the Marriott hotel.

This hotel made me feel practical: They had a buffet breakfast in the hotel, which was included with the room, and I had that rather than go out for breakfast.

Go to McDonalds for breakfast instead. The Marriott's food was mostly cold.

Their apple pancakes were hard as rocks. The French toast stuck to the pan and had hard dried up crust. There was only one guy with two omelet pans and only one waffle maker.

I saw burnt omelets and one person in our party had an extra crispy waffle. Mine was fine. It was the only thing I had that was. For $13.50 you can get a good breakfast anywhere.
