Marriott Downtown Anchorage Hotel

The Marriott beds are the greatest!

The standard room I stayed in was quite large and had a view of the Cook Inlet. The service was great as were the dining accommodations; our group used both the restaurant and banquet facilities. The hotel food wasn't the greatest but that's to be expected.

Staying in downtown Anchorage is ideal as restaurants, bars, shops, etc. are within walking distance. Oh, the hotel has a pool and spa, a perfect retreat when it's freezing outside.

I was able to use the internet service in the business center.

It was great. The room was comfortable, especially after a long day of flying to get from the Midwest to Alaska. The central location was also very convenient to other downtown attractions and food delivery.
