Marriott Delray Beach Resort

I stayed at this hotel with my kids for a week long spring break vacation. The thing I can say for the hotel is that it has a great location-just across the street from a beautiful beach. Unfortunately that is where my positive comments on this hotel end. I do not have glowing words for any other aspect of this establishment. The service at the front desk was terrible. They obviously had overbooked the hotel and did not have enough staff. We had to move rooms once because the room we were given looked out over a garbage pick up area and was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. The move was a nightmare. They promised the room would be ready at 4 PM. My kids (5 and 7) and I ended up standing in the lobby in our wet swimsuits waiting for our new room for 1 ½ hours! Anything else to add? Anything good about this place? Hmmm..NOT!

I like the cool atmosphere of the hotel and the cleanliness of it. Everything was great.

Everything was fine. I enjoyed my stay while working as hard as I did.

The location was great. The pool and beach were great, and the food was good. The rooms were a little small, but had great bedding. The only thing that ruined our stay was the service. I would have rated the hotel in high standards, but the people they have working in areas that interact with the public were horrendous.

They had great service, a great staff, a great pool and everything was great.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The great beds, bedding and room great service made me feel pampered.
