Marriott Crystal Gateway Hotel

I have stayed here before but now they have renovated and it is really nice. Hard to beat the location and there are dozens of restaurants and shops within walking distance outside or in the underground. The subway (Metro) is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel - everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Address is a bit confusing, but that's just Crystal City. Really it is on Eads Street between 15th and 20th (take 15th or 23rd from Jeff-Davis) and you'll see the red sign looking down Eads.

They should offer free internet connection.

The hotel had a great location, with a subway station in the basement. It had very nice rooms.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: It was the most comfortable bed I have ever encountered in a hotel.

Comfortable, spacious room. Nice indoor, outdoor pool. Terrible exercise facilities - located above the pool, hot and possible mildew. Equipment outdated and un-serviced. Also, not a good area for an outdoor run. The location is convenient to the airport and metro, but otherwise pretty dull. There are some good casual restaurants about half a mile away, decent restaurants in the hotel, and a variety in the shopping mall adjacent (by tunnel) to the hotel. No views to speak of, but nice bedding and bath products. Staff is extremely courteous and meeting facilities were comfortable. Overall, very comfortable, though with some air quality problems, and limited options for recreation.

I stay at this Marriott frequently and would recommend it to people visiting the area. It was undergoing renovations which are now complete. It's nicely appointed.

This hotel made me feel important: I was upgraded to a very nice suite. I stay at Marriott regularly, but not enough to qualify for the top elite status. I thought the upgrade was a nice touch and a satisfying transaction.

This is one of the best hotels in Arlington, with great access to VA and DC.
