It was better than I expected. The room was great (very comfortable and attractive), the floor was quiet, and they were friendly.
This hotel made me feel welcome: They greeted me in a very rapid and friendly fashion. I brought my infant along with my husband for this trip and they were incredibly helpful and friendly to her (more so than when I travel alone).

The pillows were surprisingly hard. Otherwise, the room was fine and the furniture was very nice.
This hotel made me feel secure: The trip was taken right before the DNC meeting in Boston. Everyone seemed to be thinking and talking about security issues. The service at the hotel was incredibly smooth, and they exhibited an overall sense of confidence. Also, a key card was required to enter the premises.

I find Marriott hotels to be above the standard in quality--with the exception of the elevators. I have been in at least 3 Marriotts where the elevators are way too slow and overcrowded.
This hotel made me feel secure: The hotel had quiet halls and security officers were visible.

We arrived in a deluge (hurricane aftermath) with completely soaked luggage. Despite 3 separate requests to have our clothes laundered, we were not assisted at all, and ultimately had to hang our wet clothing all over the hotel room to dry.

Marriott hotels have been the best I've stayed in since the 1970's. They have never lost my reservations and I've never had any disappointments. I appreciated the platinum standard of stay and the away-from-home welcomeness.
This hotel made me feel secure: I appreciated the lobby security and hotel employees moving about the inside and outside of the premises.

I wish I had picked them at other times.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The room had a free refrigerator and a safe. There were newspapers every day, even Sunday. The ac/heating was not noisy and worked well, and my non-smoking room was really clean! The faucet had enough room to fill our Brita water pitcher directly, and the room had a great view!

It was a much nicer hotel than I originally expected (with a Marriott name). The staff was very friendly and was always quite accommodating. It was a pleasure staying there and if I had to stay at a hotel in Boston again in the heart of downtown, I would stay there.
This hotel made me feel elegant: This was nicer than I would have thought a Marriott hotel would have been. It was right in downtown Boston with a large conference being held there, so the hotels our group normally chooses are usually quite nice.
