With all things considered it was fine. The staff was helpful. There was a minor problem with the wired internet service. I expected wireless connection in this class of a hotel.

The hotel had a central location, with easy access to services. Sometimes there seemed to be too few employees at the desk, especially at evening check in. Otherwise, the hotel met my expectations.

It was located close to where I was going. I have stayed there many times before and I find it adequate to the intended purpose.

Everything was fine and the location was great for walking around or catching the subway. The room was comfortable and clean, as were the meeting rooms. The hotel restaurant was having a staffing problem at that time, so hours were limited, but that was not a problem for me.

The hotel had a great location for going to Fenway. My advice is to try to get a high floor for the view of Back Bay.

As was the primary consideration, I liked the accessibility to all of the marathon activities. The pool, the restaurant fare and the various decor items were grandkid friendly. For shopping, its connecting, covered walkways were very convenient to the city center mall area.

The location in central Boston is awesome and in walking distance to nice cafes and the Fenway park. It is attached to a mall which is also nice to do window shopping.
