The hotel was fine. It was located near good restaurants.

I am a smoker and unknown to me they had gone from having smoking floors in the hotel to a smoke free facility. I was unaware until I arrived.

The restaurant featuring upscale southern cuisine was wonderful and the staff terrific. The hotel is very well kept and the bedding is soft and comfortable.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The bedding was soft and fluffy. They moved me upon request to the other side of the building away from the street which was too noisy and I awoke a few times the first night.

I liked the good price and quality.

I returned to the room to find the door to the room opened. When I complained to the front desk, the clerk laughed.

I love this location. It is convenient to everything downtown including my office, nightlife, restaurants. Their service is great. I never have any issue requesting non feather bedding. I usually get a concierge level room and the service in the lounge is excellent. This is my preferred hotel in downtown Charlotte.

I thought the hotel was very clean and well kept and it was fairly close to amenities.

The bathroom was small, as there was no fan the mirrors became steamy after showers. I disliked the limited TV channels and the room had dim lighting. There was only a small closet with few hangers for two people staying four nights.

They provide excellent service and you are treated as a honored guest. I like the Marriott club perks such as the points for free stays. The Marriott chain seems to keep the prices reasonably controlled, too.

Parking for the disabled was poor. The hotel was no help in solving the problem.

It is conveniently located right downtown near the client's office that I visited. The room doesn't have a refrigerator or microwave, though.

The room was very nice. However, the bathroom needed to be cleaned better. I found hair on many surfaces. After I left, a day earlier than my sister, she went to the room to use the shower and found that everything in the room was clean but the tub. There was an empty shampoo bottle and used washcloth still in the tub.

This hotel made me feel secure: The doors had good security items. The door that I entered needed a key card to get in.
