We liked most of the resort. Very clean room and a friendly and help full staff. I did not like the fact that we had to go outside to enter the " indoor pool" It got a little chilly going back to our room. but we will more then likely return in the summer months.

We have been staying at this hotel for approximately six years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are meticulously kept. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. The water pressure in the shower is luxurious. Each room comes with a full size refrigerator. The hotel is on the trolley line, stop across the street. Excellent breakfast at the hayloft restaurant, left turn out of parking lot. Haddock jacks which is just beyond that is wonderful for lunch and dinner. Ogunquit center is just 5 min down the road. The view from the hotel decks is outstanding of the marsh and the ocean beyond.

Sometimes staying at these privately owned places can be a gamble as to quality and cleanliness, but my husband and I were thrilled to find that the Mariner was perfect! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The best part of our stay was the view. The property abutes the Marsh and you can see the ocean in the distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt right at home and wish our stay could have lasted longer! We will be back to Ogunquit, and will certainly be staying at the Mariner again!

We visited the Mariner on the off season so it was very quiet, but it is large and well kept with a view of the ocean and a pool. The lobby is lovely offering free coffee and the employees were all helpful.
The downtown trolley stops right across the street, helping you to
avoid the vicious downtown parking situation.
The location is a bit outside of
downtown, but there is a feeling
of relief when you get back to your room (with outside doors) knowing you can leave the downtown bustle behind you.
