The resort is situated on three miles of pristine beaches, so it's a great place for doing everything or nothing at all. There are several restaurants and lounges to choose from, - Kurrents features seafood and steaks, while Quinn's on the Beach has lighter snakcs and great views of the gulf and Tropiks is for casual dinning with the whole family. There is a variety of water sports on offer including excursions, fishing, eco-adventures, beach volley ball, two pools and much more. The Rookery at Marco features an 18-hole championship course and a 14-acre state-of-the-art practice facility. The Balinese-style Spa has numerous relaxing treatments on offer with 24 treatment rooms and 6 seaside terraces. There are outdoor activities, games, toys, arts and crafts arranged for children here, which gives parents a break. **Improvements will be taking place in May 2006-Dec 2006. The hotel is making every effort to ensure the guest interruption is at a minimum. This hotel was great. It had great views of the gulf and a great beach. I liked all the pools and restaurants. It was a great find and surprise to be at. Everyone had a fun time.
The Marriott is a big place. As such, it has nice amenities. However, as a big place, it sometimes sells out for various conventions, conferences, etc. and you feel a little crowded. It is always a place to investigate when looking for a hotel...

We reserved a king size bed but we were told that there were unavailable so we had to settle for two double beds. On the positive side, the hotel was beautiful and I loved the fact that it was right on the beach. I also loved the fact that it was within walking distance of lots of restaurants.
