The Marriott Marco Island was the worst hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Our ocean view reservation was ignored and we had a view of the top of palm trees. The carpet had a horrible black stain across the middle of the floor. The wallpaper in ...

I stayed here with family prior to New Year's Eve and was fairly satisfied with the hotel overall. For this trip, I redeemed Marriott Rewards points for a double bed standard room. At this property, customers redeeming points are allowed two...

Marriott really has outdone itself with this property and staff. I don't know where to begin. As soon as we got there we were welcomed with the words... "WELCOME TO PARIDISE". Those words set the tone to this vacation. The property is beautiful...
49 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
My family has stayed at this property twice (2005 and 2006). In 2005 the rooms were dated but the staff were pleasant and the facility clean and well kept. During 2006 one wing of the facility was under construction, so I would assume the dated rooms have now been addressed. Based on past experience we did consider this facility again in 2008. However, what was a $200 a night property now comes in at $500 a night. This facility obviously thinks very highly of their new rooms. Given that a beach vacation is spent primarily out of the room I fail to see how one can justify a 250% increase in the cost of the room. The beach, the gulf, the drinks, and the surrounding attractions are the same down or up the road. I wouldnt pay $15,000 a month for a small apartment?
