I stayed at the Mansion the night of Oct 31, 2009. Overall it was a neat getaway but with some reservations.
- The 'scene' was great-- we got a real kick out of it. Beautiful public spaces.
- The basic room has only Queen size bed. We are more comfortable in a King.
- There was something in the room air that set off my husband's allergies, and he got stuffy and snored all night.
- I had to lay things along the bottom of the door to cover the large crack letting in bright light from the hallway.
- the tub had jets, which I know is meant to be a luxurious amenity, but I don't believe you can ever really get them clean, so I stuck with the shower, which was fine.
- breakfast the next day was very nice.
I can't really fault anything they did, but the fact was we didn't have a good night's sleep. So I'm not sure I'd stay again.
I have never experienced or heard one complaint about this place. The staff are there to cater to your every need... If there was a problem, they would attend to it immediately and with no problems. My husband and I stayed up for most of the night...

This is the best 'Hotel' in downtown Buffalo. The staff is attentive, service is acceptable, and the rooms are nice. Room service and other amenities are lacking, but it is made up for in ambiance and style.
